The Turnbull Government has given the cold shoulder to the families of Bankstown freezing Family Tax Benefit Payment rates for two years whilst giving millionaires a tax cut.
These cuts mean 18,000 local families will be up to $605 worse off over the next two years.
At the same time he is giving millionaires a tax cut of $16,400 a year.
This proves how out of touch Malcolm Turnbull is. He just doesn’t get it.
The freeze means 1.5 million Australian families will miss out on $1.4 billion.
Cuts to family payments start on 1 July this year – the same day the Turnbull Government will abolish the deficit levy, giving a tax cut to millionaires.
