Malcolm Turnbull last night shot off a rambling blog arguing that he had never committed to passing 450,000 brownfields premises with fibre by the 30th of June this year.
Again Malcolm Turnbull has got it wrong.
And here is the video to prove it:
In this video he says:
“We have issued design instructions for more premises, twice as many premises to be passed by June 30 next year as NBN Co has passed to date.”
When Josh Taylor from ZDNet asked his office if that meant NBN Co would pass 450,000 brownfields premises by the 30th of June 2014, it was confirmed:
Two weeks ago it was revealed that NBN Co only managed to pass 381,146 brownfields premises by the 30th of June – almost 70,000 short of Turnbull’s target.
Malcolm Turnbull’s has again over-promised and under-delivered.
It is not as bad as a $100 lamb roast but it is still wrong and Malcolm Turnbull should just admit it.
