Armistice Centenary Grants Program

Local Federal Member, Jason Clare, has announced a one-off grants program for the Armistice Centenary in 2018.

The Armistice Centenary Grants Program will provide funding for local community-based projects and activities that commemorate 100 years since the end of the First World War.

“Our local area will receive $50,000 to commemorate the centenary,” Mr Clare said.

“I am pleased to invite expressions of interest from eligible local groups to participate in this program.”

The Blaxland Consultative Committee will review all proposals and develop a short list of applicants to be invited to submit a formal application to the Department of Veterans’ Affairs.

Grants of between $3,000 and $50,000 will be awarded to successful eligible groups.
