Federal Member for Blaxland, Jason Clare MP has recognised the exceptional efforts of 41 local school students at the eighth annual Community Service Awards Ceremony held at Bankstown Sports Club. The ceremony was attended by over 200 guests including families, school principals and teachers.
“Each of these students have made our local community a better place to live.” Mr Clare said.
One of the youngest recipient on the night was local year 2 student Lujain Gul from Sefton Infants School.
“Lujain is always ready to help out whenever she can, both in the classroom and out on the playground. She is a friend to many, and a proud member of the Sefton Infants School Community.”
“I am inspired by their generosity, their hard work and their community service, and I look forward to seeing what these young leaders achieve in the future.”
Guest speaker, Luke Webb, Ambassador for the Stroke Foundation of Australia, gave an inspiring address that captivated award recipients and their families.
During this event, the students recognised for their admirable achievements were presented with an official certificate.
