Birrong Girls High School received a total of $1.1 million under the program. In addition to the newly refurbished Science laboratories, the funding was also used to refurbish school facilities.

“These are great new Science facilities.  They will help the students learn and allow the school to grow,” Mr Clare said.

“It is great to witness first hand the impact this facility has already on the Birrong Girls school community,” Mr Clare said.

The students celebrated the official opening of the refurbished Science Centre with a special ceremony.
