Federal Member for Blaxland, Jason Clare MP, officially opened a new primary school building and refurbished Science and Technology facilities at Regents Park Christian School on Saturday 21 May, funded as part of the Australian Government’s Building the Education Revolution (BER).
Mr Clare was joined at the opening by the School’s Principal Mr Gary Brummel, Board Chairman and Pastor of Regents Park Community Church Pastor David Deal, and Rev Bob Frisken AM who founded the school in 1976.
Regents Park Christian School received a total of $1.49 million under the program.
The opening of the new primary school building means that for the first time in the school’s history, the school’s primary and secondary campuses are now located on the one site.
“These are great new school facilities. They will help the students learn and allow the school to grow,” Mr Clare said.
“It is great to witness first hand the impact these facilities have already had on the Regents Park school community,” Mr Clare said.
Parents and students celebrated the official opening of the facilities with a special ceremony.
