Jason Clare opens new classrooms at Blaxcell Street Public School

Federal Member for Blaxland, Jason Clare MP, visited Blaxcell Street Public School this week to officially open 4 new classrooms and student amenities, which were constructed as part of the Australian Government’s Building the Education Revolution (BER).

Mr Clare was joined at the opening by the School’s Principal, Mrs Sandra Bradley.

Blaxcell Street Public School received a total of $3.2 million under the program.

“These are great new classrooms. They will help the students to learn and allow the school to grow,” Mr Clare said.

“It is great to witness first hand the impact these facilities have already had on the Blaxcell Street school community.”

The students celebrated the official opening of the new classrooms with a special school assembly.
