Jason Clare opens new library, refurbished administration area and classrooms at Old Guildford Public School

Federal Member for Blaxland, Jason Clare MP, visited Old Guildford Public School to officially open its new library, refurbished administration area and five classrooms which were constructed as part of the Australian Government’s Building the Education Revolution (BER).

Mr Clare was joined at the opening by the School’s Principal Ms Kay Campbell, Her Excellency the Governor of NSW Marie Bashir, and the President of the School’s P&C Mrs Kim Hunter.

Old Guildford Public School received a total of $2,145,000 under the program.

“This is a great new multipurpose facility. It will help the students to learn and allow the school to grow,” Mr Clare said.

“It is great to witness firsthand the impact this facility has already had on the school and local community, ‘ Mr Clare said.

Parents and students celebrated the official opening with a special school assembly.
