Jason Clare opens new Multipurpose Hall and classrooms at Christ the King Primary School

Federal Member for Blaxland, Jason Clare MP, visited Christ the King Primary School to officially open its new multipurpose hall and classrooms which was constructed as part of the Australian Government’s Building the Education Revolution (BER).


Mr Clare was joined at the opening by the School’s Principal Mrs Maureen Jones, Parish Priest of Christ the King Father Phillips Royan, Mayor of Bankstown Clr Khal Asfour, Regional Consultant CEO for the Sydney Southern Region Mrs Mary L’Estrange, as well as John Sweeting, Liana Guo and Lend Louangkhoth from the Catholic Education Office and the Commercial Director of GARTNEROSE, Mr Daniel Rose.

Christ the King Primary School received a total of $2,050,524 under the program.

“This is a great new multipurpose facility. It will help the students to learn and allow the school to grow,” Mr Clare said.

“It is great to witness firsthand the impact this facility has already had on the school and local community, ‘ Mr Clare said.

Parents and students celebrated the official opening with a special school assembly.
