Jason Clare opens new multipurpose hall at Regents Park Public School

Federal Member for Blaxland, Jason Clare MP, today officially opened Regents Park Public School’s new multipurpose hall which was constructed as part of the Australian Government’s Building the Education Revolution (BER).

Mr Clare was joined at the opening by the School’s Principal Ms Rose Manousaridis, former P&F President Mr Rod McFarlane and Principal of Birrong Girls High School Ms Jenni Wilkins.

Regents Park Public School received a total of $2.1 million under the program. In addition to the multipurpose hall the funding was also used to construct a new outdoor shade structure in the school playground.”These are great new facilities. They will help the students to learn and allow the school to grow,” Mr Clare said.

“It is great to see our local schools are getting the facilities that our kids deserve.


Regents Park Public School Principal Ms Rose Manousaridis, said these renovations have been of great benefit to students and teachers.

“This new multipurpose school hall is not just bricks and mortar, it provides a new space to learn and celebrate student achievements,” Ms Manousaridis

Regents Park Public school has already put their new multipurpose hall to good use. The school has had numerous gymnastic displays, performances and even digital storytelling in their new multipurpose hall.
