Jason Clare opens 27 refurbished classrooms and a new covered outdoor learning area at Georges Hall Public School

Federal Member for Blaxland, Jason Clare MP, officially opened Georges Hall Public School’s new covered outdoor learning area and 27 upgraded classrooms which were refurbished as part of the Australian Government’s Building the Education Revolution (BER).

Mr Clare was joined at the opening by the School’s Principal Ms Iris Rittau.

Georges Hall Public School received a total of $3.2 million under the program.

“These are great new classrooms. They will help the students to learn and allow the school to grow,” Mr Clare said.

“It is great to see our local schools are getting the facilities that our kids deserve.

The students celebrated the official opening of the new facilities with a special school assembly.
