Mr Clare was joined at the opening by the School’s Principal, Mr Brent Kunkler, previous School Principal Ms Kaye Llewellyhn and the School Education Director for Fairfield, Mr James Colebourne.

Chester Hill Public School received a total of $3.2 million under the program.

“These are great new classrooms. They will help the students to learn and allow the school to grow,” Mr Clare said.

“It is great to witness first hand the impact these facilities have already had on the Chester Hill school community,” Mr Clare said.

Chester Hill Public School Principal, Mr Kunkler said, “we have been fortunate enough to have received newly built classrooms, a refurbishment of our computer room, a lift enabling access to our library and an upgrade to our gardens.”

Parents and students celebrated the official opening with a special school assembly.
