This year we will be raising money at Wendy’s at Centro Bankstown on Saturday, 26 October from 10:00am – 12:00pm.

“In Australia, one in nine women will develop breast cancer in their lifetime and seven women tragically lose their battle with this disease every day,” Mr Clare said.

“Come on down to Wendy’s at Centro and donate a few dollars to help find a cure to this terrible disease.

Andrea Zacharia is the owner of Wendy’s at Centro Bankstown. She has pledged her support for the event.

“We all know someone who has been affected by breast cancer. That’s why events like Jason Clare’s Pink Ribbon Day Fundraiser are so important,” Andrea said.

“I will be donating 50 cents from every regular two scoop cone sold on the day.

Cancer survivor and NSW Cancer Council volunteer, Ms Barbara Gill is also encouraging people to get involved in Jason’s Pink Ribbon Day event.

“Pink Ribbon Day events are running throughout the month of October. Get involved and help raise money for breast cancer research,” Ms Gill said.

Bankstown Multicultural Youth Service will provide free face painting for the kids.
