Federal Member for Blaxland, Jason Clare MP, is encouraging local families to register for ‘Welcoming the Babies 2014’.
This year’s event will be held on Saturday 18 October at Bass Hill Plaza out the front of Aldi from 10am – 12pm.
“Having a child is one of the most important decisions that you will ever make. ‘Welcoming the Babies’ gives us a chance to thank mums and dads for the invaluable work they do in raising our next generation.
“Every baby that attends will receive a special certificate and a gift bag which contains useful information and samples for mums and dads about services available to them and their babies to make parenting a little easier,” Mr Clare said.
There’ll also be free entertainment for the kids provided by the Mz Dinaz dance studio in Chester Hill.
Registration for ‘Welcoming the Babies’ is essential. All children under the age of 2 are eligible. Parents should call Jason’s office on 9790 2466 to register their child.
