More than 200 people attended this special event to celebrate new births in our local community and say thank you to all the mums and dads for the important work they do.

On the day mums and dads received a special certificate and a gift bag which contained useful samples and information about raising babies and toddlers.

“Raising a child is hard work. It can also be very isolating. Being a mum or a dad is the most important job in the world and this is just a small way to say thank you,” Mr Clare said

“The youngest baby at the event was Haydar Saleh, born just three weeks ago.”

Mz Dinaz dance studio entertained the crowd with a number of dazzling dance and singing performances.

Dora the Explorer and Dorothy the Dinosaur also made a special guest appearance on the day.

Some of the organisations that contributed to the success of the day included:

  • Bounty
  • NSW Playgroup
  • Koorana
  • Karitane
  • Family Relationships
  • Chester Hill Neighbourhood Centre
  • Creating Links
